My approach to designing scholarly book covers balances clarity, typographic refinement, and visual sensitivity to reflect and honour the intellectual depth of the content. In most projects, this includes carefully sourcing cover visuals—whether artwork, archival materials, or stock photography—that thoughtfully align with the book’s themes. All of the covers featured below were created for UBC Press.
